The Toronto Rum Festival seeks to be the newest addition to the event calendar of Toronto Carnival. A Carnival Sunday daytime festival presented by D’ Bandit Entertainment and the Festival Management Committee taking place at Ontario Place. This festival will professionally showcase various Rum of the Caribbean while creating a true Caribbean atmosphere through live entertainment, competition and the sights, sounds and tastes of the Caribbean.

The Toronto Rum Festival will feature various stations/tents presented and branded by parent Rum companies.  These stations will feature a variation of rums, offering both professional tasting and consuming options.

The festival will also incorporate a competitive aspect to this showcase as patrons will be asked to participate in a “People’s Rum Choice Competition” via the social media channels of the event.

Yes! In keeping with the Caribbean culture of the Toronto Carnival weekend, Caribbean performers will play a major role in creating a unique authentic atmosphere for the event. Live steelpan from the winners of the Toronto Carnival Panorama.  Winners of the King and Queen competition costumes on display. Moko Jumbies (stilt walkers), and costumed Dancers will flood the event interacting with patrons. Live Soca and Reggae artists will provide the sounds of the event and Professional Cocktail Makers will add to the excitement and entertainment throughout the day.

Toronto Rum Festival is an 19+ event.  The footprint of this event will be licenced to allow alcoholic beverages to be consumed.  Patrons will have the ability to be exposed to various Caribbean Rum in different cocktails and serving styles as well as an event inclusive of beverages, food, and entertainment in true Caribbean style.

*All stations will be staffed with Smart Serve bartenders

Yes, as the event is focused around the consumption of alcohol,  there will be food available and on sale by licensed food vendors.

Yes! There will be 2 competitive aspects to this Festival.

  1. “People’s Rum Choice Competition” via the social media channels of the event - chosen by the consumers.   
  2. “Cocktail Makers Competition” - Professional Cocktail Makers will compete for best cocktails and will be judged by.

Admission to the Toronto Rum Festival will be $30. This ticket gives you a branded  cup, 5 drink tokens to use at any station within the festival, plus access to entertainment within the festival.  Each additional token will cost $5 but will only be granted based on consumer condition at time of purchase.
